Golden Residency uses category-specific requirements
The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security publishes different requirements for different applicant categories. The categories currently include the following.
- Investors in public investments or real estate
- Entrepreneurs
- Scientists and specialists
- Exceptional talents
- Outstanding students
- Humanitarian pioneers and frontline heroes
Category names, evidence and residence duration are subject to current authority requirements. A category match does not confirm eligibility or approval.

Golden Residency and Freelancer Membership are separate
Golden Residency Support is a separate administrative service. It does not automatically include Freelancer Membership, Freelance Central, FreelancerHub or the wider Dynamic Freelancer ecosystem.
Holding Golden Residency also does not automatically enrol you in Dynamic Freelancer or replace any work-authorisation steps that may apply to your engagement. If you want to use the Dynamic Freelancer structure for eligible freelance client work, we assess the Freelancer Membership separately.

No. The relevant UAE authority reviews and issues Golden Residency. Dynamic Freelancer provides only the administrative support confirmed in the written engagement.
